Add the VxVM disk group resource to a group. Before you can add the VxVM disk group resource, you must make sure that you have used Veritas Windows Volume Manager in advance to create a dynamic disk group.
Also, you must assigned a disk letter or a mount path on both nodes.

However, you cannot add a Dynamic Secondary Disk Group that uses a local disk as resource.

  1. Select the group -> Right click with the mouse -> Add the resource.
  2. In resource wizard, select a shared VxVM disk group and click the 'Next' button.
  3. If you select a disk group to be used in the VxVM disk group resource,it will recommend a name.

  4. Click the 'Finish' button to add the basic application resource.
    You can immediately check the result in the management web console.
