Resource Group
- To add a group, select 'group name ->right click->Add → right click → Add Group' from configuration tree.
Or select 'Edit(E)->Add → Add Group' from main menu.

Add Group wizard is launched as shown below.

Enter group name, select the nodes from Available nodes list and click the '▶' button to moves these in Target Nodes lists.
[Figure] Select Active node View When select just a node from Available nodes list, you can create single node group.

Info Unlike failover group, Single node group does not support failover when failure occurs.
If you have selected single node cluster in installation step, only one node appears in Available Nodes list.

If you select to register a group, you will see the initial group registration screen.
In the initial group registration screen, enter a group name and move the operation target node from the left window to the right window.Info If you select only one operation target node, then you can create a single node group.
If you select this option, a group is not able to perform failover in case of trouble.(If you have selected a single node cluster in the installation program, only one node will be displayed as an available node.)

Click Additional Settings to choose group mode as Press the 'Additional Setting' button to decide whether to set the group policy to failover or parallel operation.
If you have added more than one node to the operation target node, additional setting will be activated.

Parallel group is configured with the resources that can be executed on more than 2 nodes at the same time. Parallel group does not support failover, but restart the service when it is failed in local node.- After completed Basic Settings, you can add resources to be monitored by wizard based.

To define the start or stop order among resources, use the arrow to change the order.

After completed 'Configure Applications', you can add NIC and IP address resource.
If you would like to skip this step, check on 'Skip network configuration' and click 'Next' button.

To add NIC resource, select a NIC from drop down box of 'Select Network Adapter' and enter resource name.
Default value is same as name of NIC and you can edit as your definition.
[Figure] Network Adapter Select View To add IP resource, enter IP address which is represent for both nodes which is called Virtual IP address and enter resource name.
Default value is same as virtual IP address and you can edit as your definition.Warning NIC resource must be defined before add an IP resource.

After completed 'Configure Network', you can add disk resource.

You can change the starting/terminating order of added resources by pressing the arrow icon.

After needed resource are all configured, MCCS will show suggested dependency map.

Select the dependency line to be deleted, right click and select 'Unlink' to delete dependency between the resources.

Click "OK" button and dependency will is deleted.

After deleting dependency, dependency line is disconnected.

To define dependency between the resources, select '↓Create Dependency' from 'Palette'.

Click parent resource first and then click child resource.

- Once you have configured all the resources, it will suggest a dependency recommended by MCCS.
If you want to change the dependency, select the Dependency tool in the right tab and change it.

Add Group Only
To add group only, and not resource, please follow the steps below.

Deleting
To delete a group, first make sure that there are existing online resources in a group.
If there is an existing resource online, terminate or delete it.
- To delete group, select Select Group - Right Click - Delete Group.

If one or more than one of the resources is online state, a message shown below will appear. - When this happens, offline the group first before deleting it.

A warning window appears to confirm to delete group.
[Figure] Confirm Delete Group View If the mirror disk is included in the group, a message asking if replication program of mirror disk will be deleted as well.
Info if you click "OK" button, replication program is deleted as well. Press "Cancel" button if you do not wish to delete replication program.
