The mirror management console is provided only for the individual mirror resources managed by MCCS.
The mirror management console operates independently from the engine logic of MCCS, so during operation, it can collide with MCCS.
The mirror management console informs users of the mirror volume status and the capacity of the mirror in use. You can change the bandwidth and the mirror network addresses in it.

Mirror disk Status

 Mirror console show mirroring status as follows.

Volume

 

The volume role is Source.
Displays the capacity in use on the right side of the volume. 

The volume role is Target.

Status

 

The status is Mirroring.

The status is Resyncing.
Displays the progress for resyncing.
The status is Paused.
There is a dirtybit in the volume.
 Split brain is occurred.

Pause

The mirror status will be changed to PAUSE and replication will be paused. 

ResyncThe mirror status will be changed to RESYNCING and the full synchronization will be initiated between node.
ResumeResume MIRRORING the mirror disk which was paused. Resynchronization will take place in advance, if there is data change during paused. 

Target

Lock

The volume is locked to prevent access the volume from the node.

Unlock

Unlock the target volume to access read only purpose. Mirror status should be paused in advance.

When you unlock the target volume, you can access the volume read only purpose. It can cause a negative effect to the mirror.
Even if you unlock it, you cannot write to the disk. If you want to "write" to the disk, you must manually change the readOnly attributes in the registry. But it does not highly recommended to secure data integrity.

Attribute name

Description

JOB ID

JOB ID is displayed.

Bit MapIt is the directory of intent log.

Compression level

It represents the compression level for a specific mirror set. The level range is from 0 to 9.
‘0’ means no compression. The greater value transfer more data in a smaller bandwidth, but it uses more CPU resource of the node.
Thus, by properly balancing the system CPU usage and the network bandwidth, select the proper compression level that can maximize the efficiency.

Flush async queue

Even if a driver receives a request for deleting a queue, this function can be used to prevent deletion of queues on a specific volume.
Bandwidth 

It is the max network bandwidth (kbps/sec) that can be used by a copy set.
‘0’ means that the given bandwidth will be used with maximum efficiency.

Mirror network address IP address of data replication between nodes in a cluster.

※ Mirror IP address is able to be edited. But this can be done when mirror state is paused.

Node access status

It represents the status of node accessing the shared disk.

Mirror set configuration

 The shared disk DR resource configured in MCCS is expressed as a single mirror set.

Status

 

 The volume in the MIRRORING status.

Volume in the RESYNCING status.
The progress bar is displayed during RESYNCING .

Dirtybit occurred in the volume

Pause

If you command the pausing copy,
the volume condition will be changed to pause and copying will be paused.

Forceful SyncIf you use the forceful sync command,
the status will be changed to RESYNCING and the full synchronization will be done forcefully.
Resuming CopyResume to copy the mirror volume that was paused.
Resynchronization takes place if data is changed during temporary pause.

Target 

Lock

Lock the volume to prevent access anymore.

Unlock

Unlock the target volume to see the content of the file.

Unlock the target volume to see the content of the file. It can cause a negative effect to the mirror.
Even if you unlock it, you cannot write to the file. If you want to "write" to the file, you must manually change the readOnly attributes in the registry.

Attribute name

Descriptions

JOB ID

JOB ID is displayed.

MirrorEndPointsShows the information of all jobs defined in the mirror. (Node name, Letter, MirrorIP, Sync type)

Compression level

It represents the compression level for a specific copy set. The setting range is from 0 to 9.
‘0’ means no compression. The greater the value is, the smaller bandwidth is used to transmit greater data. But also, it uses more of the CPU resources.
Thus, by properly balancing the system CPU usage and the network bandwidth, select the proper compression level that can maximize the efficiency. 

Empty Async Queue

It prevents deletion of queues on a specific volume even if a driver receives a request for deleting a queue.
Bandwidth

It represents the max network bandwidth (kbps/sec) that can be used by a copy set.
‘0’ means that the given bandwidth will be used with maximum efficiency. 

Mirror network address It copies the volume to the set IP address.

Mirror disk resource in a cluster is expressed as an MirrorSet.

Pause

복제 일시 중지 명령시 볼륨 상태가 PAUSE 상태로 변경 되며
복제가 일시 중지 됩니다. 

Resync강제 동기 명령시 RESYNCING 상태로 변경 되며
강제로 전체 동기화를 진행합니다.
Resume일시 중지된 미러 볼륨의 복제 작업을 재개 합니다.
일시 중지 중에 데이터 변동이 일어 났다면 재동기 작업이 발생합니다. 

Target

 

Lock

볼륨을 잠궈 더이상 접근 할 수 없게 됩니다.

Unlock

대상 볼륨의 잠금을 해제 하여 파일 시스템의 내용을 볼 수 있도록 합니다. 

Target 볼륨 잠금 해제시 파일 시스템의 내용을 볼 수 있도록 합니다. 이로 인해 미러에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.
락(lock)을 해제해도 파일에 쓰기 작업은 수행 할 수 없습니다. "쓰기" 작업을 수행하기 위해서는 레지스트리의 readOnly 속성을 수동으로 수정해야 합니다.

속성명

설명

JOB ID

JOB ID 를 나타냅니다.

MirrorEndPoints미러에 정의된 모든 job에 대한 정보를 보여줍니다. ( 노드이름, Letter , MirrorIP, 동기화 타입)

압축 레벨

특정 복제 셋에 대한 압축레벨을 나타냅니다. 설정할 수 있는 값은 0~9 까지 입니다.
‘0’는 압축하지 않는다는 의미입니다. 값이 크면 클수록 낮은 대역폭으로 많은 데이터를 전송할 수 있지만 CPU 의 자원을 더 많이 사용합니다.
따라서 시스템의 CPU 사용율과 네트워크의 대역폭을 적절히 균형을 맞춰 최대 효율을 낼 수 있는 압축레벨을 설정하는 것이 바람직합니다.

비동기 큐 비움

드라이버가 큐 삭제 요청을 받더라도 특정 볼륨에 대해서는 큐를 삭제 하지 않도록 설정 하는 것입니다.
대역폭 

복제 셋이 사용할 수 있는 네트워크 대역폭(kbps/sec)의 최대치를 나타냅니다.
‘0’은 주어진 대역폭을 최대로 사용하겠다는 의미입니다.

미러 네트워크 주소 설정된 IP로 볼륨을 복제합니다.

※ 미러 네트워크 주소는 속성 설정 화면에서 변경할 수 있습니다.

    단, 복제가 일시 중지된 상태에서만 변경할 수 있으며, 이는 미러 관리 화면에서 할 수 있습니다.
    네트워크 주소 변경 완료 후, 복재 재개를 위해서 미러 재 동기 작업이 필요합니다.
