2. Management Web Console.

MCCS management allows you to access the web console to perform management by using the web service.
Only if all the node engines are running, you can connect the management web console to MCCS service.
If any one of nodes is not running, other node will standby until it finished initialization and configuration.

Object State

Description

Group

Online

All the resources in the group are online, so the configuration element icon is displayed in color.

Offline/ Disabled

All resources in group are offline or disabled, so the configuration element icon is displayed in black and white.

Partial Online

GoingOffline

  1. Only some resources are online
  2. After the start command is run, all the resources are not yet to be online
  3. After the termination command is run, all the resources are not yet to be offline

In these cases, the icon in color is overlapped with a yellow check mark.

Fault
If one or more resources are switched to offline even if you did not run the termination command, it is regarded as trouble and a red check mark will be also displayed.

Lock

A group is locked. There are two types of lock - temporary lock and normal lock.

Temporary lock: When the both servers terminate the MCCS service, the locking status will be released.
Lock: Even if the MCCS service is terminated, the locking status will remain the same.

(For more details, refer to "5.1 Group Control".)

SPLIT-BRAIN

It is only applicable to a mirror disk resource.
Mirror disk at the both nodes are detected as a source node, the disk icons will be displayed with on them.
(For more details, refer to "Chapter 8. Administering after failure")

Pause State

It is only applicable to a mirror disk resource. When a mirror disk cannot copy data, the disk icon is overlapped with .

Off-site DR node role NONE
The status is only applicable for a shared disk DR.
When the role of mirror disk of the off-site DR node is NONE, you will see many overlapping one another.
Shared disk DR replication pending
The status is only applicable to a shared disk DR.
When data replication is pending from shared disk from a cluster to a an off-site DR node, you will see many overlapping one another.
