2. Management Web Console
MCCS management allows you to access the web console to perform management by using the web service.
Only if all the node engines are running, you can connect the management web console to MCCS service.
If any one of nodes is not running, other node will standby until it finished initialization and configuration.

Menu
Main menu of MCCS.
Toolbar
Toolbar shows more-frequent functions of MCCS.
When using the toolbar, icon color will be colored when it is enabled depending on state of the group, resource type ,and resource in group management and node management. Invalid items are shown in gray.

Detail View
This is the status and attribute information for an object selected in the management tree.

Below is the explanation of the buttons of the toolbar on the log web console.
Function
Description
Icon Clear Log
Delete all the log messages displayed on the log web console screen.
It will not be deleted from the actual log file but it is only deleted from the web console screen.Get log file again
Display the full log content on the new window.
To view the log of other nodes, you must access other server and select 'View All Logs'.
Objects
Types of objects
It represents a type of objects managed by MCCS.

Shared disk DR | It represents a component that copies a volume shared between clusters to a remote site. | |
VxVM disk group | It represents a disk group component for Veritas Windows Volume Manager. | |
Oracle database | Shows Oracle database object. |
Object State
It represents an icon displayed when an MCCS component is in a certain condition - offline, online.
Object State | Description | Icon | |
Node | EXITED | MCCS service is terminated but the system is operating. | |
BUILD | MCCS service is starting. It is not yet to run an agent for each resource by receiving data from the other node. | ||
RUNNING | The system and the MCCS service are operating properly. | ||
FAULTED | All the heart-beat networks are cut off. | ||
Group
| Online | All the resources in the group are online, so the configuration element icon is displayed in color. | |
Offline/ Disabled | All resources in group are offline or disabled, so the configuration element icon is displayed in black and white. | ||
Partial Online / GoingOnline / GoingOffline

In these cases, the icon in color is overlapped with a yellow check mark . | ||
Fault | If one or more resources are switched to offline even if you did not run the termination command, it is regarded as trouble and a red check mark will be also displayed. | ||
Lock | A group is locked. There are two types of lock - temporary lock and normal lock. Temporary lock: When the both servers terminate the MCCS service, the locking status will be released. (For more details, refer to "5.1 Group Control".) | : Temporary lock : Lock

ResourceType | Online | All resources of the resource type are online, so the configuration element icon is displayed in color. | |

Shared disk DR remote site role NONE | The status is only applicable for a shared disk DR. When the role of a remote server the resource is trying to copy is NONE, you will see many overlapping one another. | ||
Shared disk DR copy delay | The status is only applicable to a shared disk DR. When there is a delay in data copying to a remote server, you will see many overlapping one another. | ||
Not response | It means that the Oracle database is running, but the instance status is not 'OPEN' or you cannot inquire about its status. |
