7. Delete MCCS

Delete Precautions

Resource group in each node should be OFFLINE.
"MCCS Uninstaller" only deletes MCCS programs, but folders still will be remained.
Configuration files(main.json, hb.json, types.json, license file and script specified by the user) are recommended to back up before deleting.


Deleting

Select Start → Program → MCCS  → MCCS Uninstaller

Start MCCS Uninstall

Screen below is the initial screen of MCCS program removal.
Click the [Next] button to continue and click the [Cancel] button to cancel.

Remove Vollock Driver

If you remove the Vollock driver, it will cancel exclusive access to the shared disk registered in MCCS, so be careful.
Rebooting is required to remove Vollock driver.

Remove SCSI Persistent Reservation

When remove SCSI Persistent Reservation, exclusive access to shared disk will be released.

Remove Data Replication Program

To remove data replication program, mirror disk resource in MCCS will be deleted and data cannot be replicated.
Rebooting is required to remove data replication program.

Remove SCSI filter driver

Rebooting is required to remove SCSI filter driver.

Start deleting

After completion of uninstall Vollock driver or Data Replication program, require reboot dialog is shown

Remaining Information after Deletion

Even though the program has been removed, there are some remaining folders in the MCCS folders that still exist.

main.json, hb.json, types.json and license file(file located in: %MCCS_HOME%/config) and other script specified by users (file located at : folder specified by user) that was created when first install MCCS make the re-installation process easier.
If MCCS folder is removed after using "MCCS Uninstaller", user should repeat the initial installation process and during re-installation.
